McDonald's in Peru: what to order and what it costs
What is McDonald's like in Peru?
McDonald's opened its first Peruvian restaurant in 1996. In Peru it competes with some of the country's most loved chains, including Bembos for burgers and Roky's and Norky's for rotisserie chicken. That makes the local price comparison especially interesting.
Our Peruvian list has four items: a promotional combo, a dessert deal, a bottle of water and a family meal. It's short, so treat it as a first look. McDonald's restaurants are mostly run by franchisees, so real prices can differ from branch to branch.
How much does McDonald's cost in Peru?
Here is the whole list, with approximate dollar amounts:
| Item | Price | About |
|---|---|---|
| San Luis water, still, 625 ml | S/4.90 | $1.45 |
| McCombo Cuarto de Libra con Queso (promotional) | S/10.90 | $3.22 |
| 2 McFlurry Oreo Chocolate | S/13.90 | $4.10 |
| 8 pieces, 3 fries and 3 soft drinks | S/99.90 | $29.47 |
The McCombo is a combo, which means a burger, fries and a drink. The Cuarto de Libra con Queso is the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. It's marked as a promotion, so it may not be available all the time.
Is the promotional combo good value?
At S/10.90, the McCombo Cuarto de Libra is a full meal for about $3.20. Here's some context from our Peruvian lists:
- A bottle of water on the same menu costs S/4.90. That's 45% of the price of the whole combo.
- The Roky's menu of a quarter chicken, salad, fries and a soft drink is S/9.90, which is S/1.00 less.
- A Bembos Clásica burger costs S/18.18 on its own. Bembos sells a Combo Clásica for S/27.80.
So the promotional combo is priced very well compared with a Bembos meal, but it's not cheaper than the Roky's chicken menu. Since the McDonald's price is promotional, check the app to see if it's still available.
What about desserts and drinks?
The 2 McFlurry Oreo Chocolate deal costs S/13.90, which is S/6.95 each. That's the price for two desserts, so it's a good way to share. The still water costs S/4.90. The same San Luis 625 ml bottle is S/3.90 at Otto Grill on our lists, so it's worth checking the price before you add one.
What is the family meal?
The family meal is 8 piezas, 3 papas y 3 gaseosas, which means eight pieces, three portions of fries and three soft drinks. It costs S/99.90, about $29.50.
For comparison, a family set at Roky's, which includes a whole chicken, two family portions of fries, a family salad, a 1.5-litre soft drink and rice, is S/98.90 on our lists. The two aren't the same food. But they're priced within S/1.00 of each other, so the choice comes down to whether you want burgers and nuggets or rotisserie chicken.
Do you pay tax or tip at McDonald's in Peru?
Menu prices in Peru include IGV, the 18% sales tax. What you see is what you pay. You don't need to tip at McDonald's counters. Some sit-down restaurants in Peru add a service charge, but that's not usual at a fast-food chain. Our Peruvian eating-out guide explains the details.
Are delivery apps more expensive in Peru?
Often. Apps such as Rappi and PedidosYa can show higher prices than the counter, and they add delivery fees. Use our delivery markup calculator to see the real extra cost.
What is not on our Peruvian list?
Our list is short. We don't have prices for individual burgers, breakfast items or the Happy Meal. Check the McDonald's app or the menu board for the current menu. To see how McDonald's works in other countries, read our McDonald's guide, and see the Bembos and Roky's pages for local rivals.
How did we get these prices?
McDonald's doesn't publish one national price list in Peru. We used a pe.pricelisto.com listing for one restaurant in Santiago de Surco, in Lima. The source dates its prices 16 December 2025, and we fetched it on 8 September 2026, so the prices are roughly nine months older than the day we checked them.
Prices from one restaurant, that long ago, and with a promotional item, are only a guide. Each page shows the date we last verified the menu, and you can read how we work on our methodology page.
