Which countries have Starbucks?

Starbucks operates in 89 markets around the world, with 41,304 stores at the end of June 2026. About 16,900 of them are in the United States, which is still by far its biggest market. China is second.

How many Starbucks stores are there outside the US?

More than half of all Starbucks stores, 22,933 of them, are outside the US. Starbucks runs about a third of its stores itself and licenses the rest to partners. In 2026 it also converted its nearly 8,000 company-run stores in China into licensed stores.

What does a Starbucks latte cost around the world?

Sizes differ between countries, so we only compare lists that clearly give a grande. Here's a grande caffè latte on our lists, in US dollars:

The same drink costs nearly 60% more in the UK than in Canada, once converted. UK and French prices include VAT and US and Canadian prices don't, but that only explains part of the gap.
