Founded in 1980 near Avignon, France, built around an American Old West theme applied to a French steakhouse format — wagon-wheel decor, cowboy imagery, and a menu centred on grilled meats. Grew into one of France's largest casual-dining chains despite, or perhaps because of, its deliberately kitsch Americana branding.
