Founded in 1951 in Montreal by Hélène and Ludger Ménard as a small rotisserie chicken counter on Rue Saint-Hubert, which gave the chain its name. Grew into Quebec's dominant rotisserie chicken chain and a genuine Quebecois cultural institution.
